Digital Download Licence

When you buy an InkSmithery digital download you get a 12-megapixel A3 print-ready PDF, watermarked with your order reference and fingerprinted to you. The licence below applies to every digital download we sell.

What you may do

• Print the file at home or at a print shop.
• Frame it, hang it, give one printed copy as a gift.
• Use it as a phone or desktop wallpaper.
• Print up to 5 personal copies for your own use.

What you may not do

• Resell, redistribute, or share the file.
• Upload it to print-on-demand sites (Redbubble, Etsy, Society6, Zazzle, Spreadshirt, or any similar service).
• Use it commercially in any form — no merchandise, branding, promotional material, or advertising.
• Claim authorship or remove the copyright notice.
• Print the file at scale (more than 5 personal copies).

About the file

The file you receive is sized for a 30×30 cm print at true 300dpi (perfect for a square print centred on A3 paper), plus phone wallpapers, photo books, greeting cards and gift tags. It is not large enough for our larger wall art or throw blankets, or any print bigger than ~30×30 cm — for those, please buy our printed products which use the full 64-megapixel master.

Each file is fingerprinted to your order. We will pursue DMCA takedowns for any copies found on resale platforms and can identify the buyer the file was originally sold to.

Your rights as a UK consumer

Digital downloads are excluded from the standard 14-day right of withdrawal under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations once you've started downloading the file (you confirm this when you tick "personal use only" at checkout). If the file fails to download or arrives corrupted, contact us within 30 days and we'll resolve it.
